Speaker: Peter Do, Constructive Technologies Group

Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Orange County chapter is about to celebrate its second year in operation. In this short period of time, the chapter has already taken on three projects (Kenya, EL Salvador, and Honduras) with one project to be completed prior to Christmas of this year. In addition, the EWB chapter is helping a local Rotary group with a school for the deaf in Mexico. Hear about the experiences from the projects in 2009 and how the Orange County Chapter is planning to continue helping these communities in 2010 and how you can get involved in both local and overseas projects.

Since graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Peter Do has been working at CTG performing energy audits, monitoring and verification, energy modeling, and commissioning. He is currently serving as the President for the EWBOC chapter, and is active in mentoring the three project leads as they deal with the challenges of completing projects is a foreign country.
